I used a piece of aluminum diamond plate on my transom, piece for the front, piece for the back a top cap. It came out of one piece, I will try to get a pic tomorrow after work. I had a rubber plate, I didn't like it. I am very pleased with this!

May 08, 2020 Second, make a template of the holes from the engine and transfer them to the new transom. Check to see that the anti-cavitation plate is level with the bottom of the hull or slightly lower. Third, drill holes larger than needed and fill with thickened epoxy. Cure and redrill with needed size.
