As long as you get that stuff on the transom, in the holes you made, nut and bolt you should have a good semi-permanent seal that wont leak. BTW, what do these floatation pods look like, is there a link on the net somewhere. Ive heard of people using them on Jon boats.

2008-11-8€ods must be designed so that they do not result in any drag when running on step. This requires them to tilt inward from the sides slightly and upward from the bottom slightly. Beavertail has this figured out very well. Some of the boxy pods I have seen on Sea Arks from the factory look very poorly designed with respect to these issues.

2012-10-9€ep 22, 2012. #2. Looks good man. Rear floatation helps a lot with the weight of a surface drive. Just be careful if your running obstructions and have the motor turned. Those pods wont allow your motor to kick up freely if you have it turned at an angle.
